<p>Place des Vosges is surrounded by restaurants and art galleries in noble pavilions. The pavilions have interesting frontage decorations of light natural stone, red brick facing, and grey slate roofs.</p>
<p>There is a little park in the centre of the square.</p>

<p>The shops around Place Vendome are the homes of a lot of famous jewellers. Also the famous &#8220;Hotel Ritz&#8221; is located close to Place Vendome.</p>
