The Disneyland in Paris was opened on the 12th April 1992. The place is known as a holiday and recreation resort, and about 32 km away from the centre of Paris.
After Tokyo, Paris was the second Disney resort in the world. By 14,5 million visitors in 2007, it counts to one of the most important tourist attractions in Europe.
