Going to the cinema is a true passion for most of the Parisians. There are more than 300 different types of cinemas in the whole city. From palaces with the latest movies from Hollywood, to little arthouse cinemas.

Cinemateque Francaise in Rue de Bercy 51, accommodates a huge collection of 40.000 movies. Cinemateque Francaise has several cinema halls, and offers interesting screenings of rare movies. Metro 6 and 14: Bercy.

MK2 is a very modern cinema in Avenue de France 128/162 with 14 cinema halls. The sustained building has a futuristic character, and a blinding white frontage. Metro 14: Bibliotheque Francois Miterrand.

La Pagode is a cinema temple in Asian style of the 19th century, and also a quite unique cinema attraction of Paris. Rue de Babylone. Metro 13: Saint Francois Xavier.
