Category: Paris Museums – admin – 1:42 pm

Musee D’Orsay is a museum in the heart of Paris which is full of light. Impressionists are the main artists the museum is dedicated to, but there are also pictures of Gogh, Paul Gauguin and Paul Cezanne.

The museum offers even a little bit more than just paintings. The visitor is also able to find sculptures, art object collections, as well as documentations about the city planning of Paris between 1848 to 1914.

A book shop of the museum is also available. The biggest attraction of Musee D’Orsay is the noble dining hall. Best time to visit this kind of special dining hall is every Sunday afternoon. A piano player creates a wonderful atmosphere by his music while visitors enjoy their fancy meals.
