Marmottan Museum of Impressionism Paris

The “Musee Marmottan” has the certain picture in its collection, which gave the impressionism its name. The precious picture has the title “Impression Soleil Levant”, and was painted by Claude Monet. There are also many other pictures of Claude Monet in the museum.

Musee Marmottan is located close to the Bois de Boulogne in Rue Louis Boilly, and accommodated in a magnificent mansion.

Works of Monet are exhibited in the basement of the mansion. The upper floor is the showroom of pictures from Monets private collection, which is dominated by works from Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, and Auguste Renoir.

The visit of this museum is a sacred duty for lovers and admirers of the impressionism.
